Carbonated Juice Processing and Packaging Line Expansion

Industry: Food & Beverage
Project Type: Packaging | Process Engineering | Engineering | Automation | EPC

Project Overview

A beverage manufacturer needed a new, independently operated carbonated juice processing, filling, and packaging line within its existing facility footprint and utility capacity. The line was designed for 10-ounce and 16-ounce single-serve bottles at approximately 750 bottles per minute.

Scope of Work

Matrix Technologies provided an integrated EPC and automation solution, including preliminary and detailed engineering, equipment procurement, construction management, and installation. Matrix designed the complete process, from raw material receiving and rail unloading of corn syrup through batching, cooking, beverage processing, filling, packaging, and palletizing. Matrix also coordinated the facility, utility, electrical, controls, and automation work.

Project Results

The completed project delivered a new, independently operated carbonated juice processing, filling, and packaging line capable of producing approximately 750 bottles per minute across multiple package sizes.

The integrated solution provided the client with expanded beverage production capabilities and a complete project delivery approach spanning process engineering, facility design, utilities, electrical and controls engineering, automation, equipment procurement, EPC installation, and construction management.

By combining these capabilities through a single project partner, Matrix Technologies helped the client expand production within its existing facility while delivering a coordinated solution from raw material receiving through finished product palletizing.
