Matrix Technologies, Inc. has experienced specialists in factory automation and control systems providing a wide range of services.

Maumee, OH – June 1st 2009 — Divya Prakash (DP) joins Matrix Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Manufacturing
Execution Systems Implementation.
Matrix Technologies, Inc. (MTI) – an award-winning provider of control and systems integration solutions acquired DP to lead the company’s efforts to formalize and expand its Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) programs.
“Matrix Technologies, Inc. has been providing these types of services to our customers for the past 15 years, but until now we have not formalized our program or service offering. The addition of DP to our experienced staff will lend the direction and leadership required to expand our offering to existing and new customers.” said David Bishop, president of Matrix Technologies, Inc.
DP comes to MTI most recently from Rockwell Automation where he held a program manager position for the Consumer Packaged Goods marketplace. He has also held senior positions at Sequencia and Honeywell. “His varied background in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, petrochemical and consumer products meshes perfectly with the markets that Matrix currently serves.”, said Bishop.
DP is well connected in industry and in the supplier marketplace. Memberships with ISA and AIChE keep him tightly integrated into the latest development of standards and new trends in the market including S-88 and S-95 standards. Experience with plant floor systems, knowledge of the ERP systems (including SAP) as well as all types of systems in-between make him the perfect addition to the Matrix team.
DP prefers a customer-centric approach to the sales effort. “You must first understand the problem the customer is trying to solve before you can architect the solution”, said Prakash. “We must work as a team to meet their goals and objectives. My diverse background in the technologies available and the excellent team here at Matrix will ensure the best possible solution for our customers.”

Employees of Matrix Technologies, Inc. help to make a difference for our troops in Iraq. Matrix employees, some veterans themselves, have spearheaded a campaign named “Operation Baseball II”. This campaign aims to donate much needed personal and recreational items to our troops in Iraq. One of the main themes of this campaign and the original operation baseball has been the collection of baseball equipment. Our volunteers have garnered donations from local businesses, sports teams (including the Mud Hens and Tigers), and individuals. The supplies are sent to soldiers who are family members and friends of Matrix employees. The soldiers have been very grateful to receive the supplies and to know that people back here care enough to make the effort. Matrix Technologies, Inc. picks up the shipping costs for the materials that are donated. We at Matrix Technologies, Inc. think it is very important to support our troops and let them know that we care and appreciate the sacrifices that they make each and every day.
Wonderware, a California-based subsidiary of Invensys, recognizes Matrix Technologies, Inc. for qualifying as an “Archestra-Certified System Integrator”. This accomplishment is a result Matrix’s commitment to train their engineering personnel in the use of Wonderware’s “System Platform” technology, pass online tests, and configure the .NET-based software technology for a minimum of two industrial clients, specifically a Kroger processing plant in Tennessee, and a Louis Dreyfus biodiesel plant in Indiana. Very few engineering firms have qualified for Archestra Certification, which qualifies them for project work with some of the largest manufacturing firms in the world.
Wonderware is distributed in the region by Wonderware Central, Inc. of Indianapolis, IN. Now 20 years old, Wonderware is used by hundreds of midwestern companies including first, second, and third tier automotive parts manufacturers, water and wastewater utilities, and manufacturers of food and pharmaceuticals, appliances, packaged goods, plastic products, and even prisons. Wonderware’s “InTouch” software provides an easily-configured human-machine interface (HMI) that enables operators of industrial machines to input variables and view real-time and historical production data in order to increase quality, throughput, and “up-time”. Wonderware’s “System Platform” technology builds upon the InTouch foundation by enabling supervisors and offsite management to monitor production processes in real time and to use that data for monitoring and tracking inventory, implementing plant-wide efficiency goals, and creating a secure interface to the internet to facilitate worldwide multi-plant data exchange. At the recent Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) conference held in April, Steve Goldberg was elected to
the CSIA Executive council for a second non consecutive term. He has been named the Chairman of the Partners Committee on
the CSIA Executive Council. The council has many goals in working with partners that are suppliers to CSIA member companies.
Among these goals are to increase awareness of the value of CSIA and its members, explore ways to increase demand, collect
metrics on registered versus non-registered company performance, provide client satisfaction surveys and obtain assistance
from partners in marketing CSIA. Matrix Technologies is a founding and certified member of CSIA and has served in many capacities
in forming and guiding the development of the organization. We are proud to have Steve take part in this important endeavor

The complete program includes over 50 Technical Sessions, 20 Hands-On Labs and more than 100 exhibitors.
Matrix Technologies was recently selected to provide the Electrical Design and Integration for a new biodiesel facility being constructed in Claypool,
IN near Fort Wayne. Louis Dreyfus Agricultural Industries is building what will be the world’s largest biodiesel facility on the site. When completed
in June of 2007, the facility will be able to process up to 90MM gallons of fuel annually. The plant will process raw soybeans to extract and refine the
oil directly, feeding the biodiesel portion of the facility rather than utilizing recycled oil as is done in smaller facilities.
