Matrix History

Matrix Technologies, Inc., established in 1980, has annual sales in excess of $20 million, over 140 employees, and supports customers around the world. Matrix Technologies' corporate headquarters is in Maumee, OH (Toledo area); with regional offices in Denver/Boulder, Colorado, Indianapolis, Indiana; and a sales office in Cleveland, Ohio.

With over 28 years of experience in the industrial marketplace, Matrix has achieved a well-respected position as a leader in control systems, and process and facilities engineering services. Our varied industry experience offers a wide range of complementary services to our clients. We have the mission to provide effective management expertise for our projects. Emphasis is on communication with all team members, meeting customers' scheduling requirements and compliance with budget.

Matrix provides Integration Engineering Services:

Control Systems Integration: providing integrated process control and factory automation systems; including specification, design, programming, implementation, validation, startup and optimization using PLC, DCS, hybrid, and PC-based systems for all levels of integration.
Process and Facilities Systems Integration: providing multi-discipline engineering, piping, mechanical systems, power, control and instrumentation services; and civil, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and architectural layout and design.
Engineer, Procure & Construct Services: providing full turnkey project execution including fabrication, installation, commissioning and construction management services.

Matrix provides project services to clients throughout the world, with installations in over 45 countries. Over 85% of our business is repeat project work from satisfied, long-term clients.

Matrix is ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 certified through Sai Global as a control system integrator in our Maumee and Indianapolis offices.

Matrix is a Registered Professional Engineering Firm in 25 states.

Matrix is a Founding and Registered Member of the Control System Integrator Association.

Matrix Technologies Inc. is proud to be a member of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA), the world’s largest system integrator association. Founder Charlie Bergman’s intent was to grow an association to help independent system integrators to run their business to a professional standard. Matrix Technologies participated from the beginning conferences to joining CSIA as one of the founding members in 1994. Steve Goldberg, Director of Industrial Systems at Matrix Technologies, has served as Director of the Membership Committee and currently serves as the Director of the Partner Committee. Over the years CSIA has grown and now has members of all different levels all over the world. Matrix is honored to aid in translating the promise of technology into performance.
